Nemo & Anakin is a 25,000 nautical miles (46,000 kms) sailing expedition and movie series starting in 2027.

Our multigenerational crew will set sail on an extraordinary journey from the historic port of La Rochelle to Greenland, the Arctic Ocean and the Berring Sea, the mystical Marquesas Islands in the heart of the Pacific through the most isolated waters on the planet at Point Nemo down to the legendary Cape Horn and finally Antarctica.

The objective of this adventure and the 4-documentary series is to explore the world and meet its people in order to reflect on environmental issues and the kind of planet we want to leave to future generations - with a positive, action-oriented, and non-moralizing mindset.  

 

Our main focus is on young people and how they perceive environmental challenges and potential solutions.

Through stunning cinematography, raw human endurance, and conversations with local communities, scientists, philosophers, and visionaries along our journey, "Nemo & Anakin" will challenge the boundaries of exploration and conservation. We are supported by a multidisciplinary team of sailors, scientists, visionaries...
